IPTV means “internet protocol television”. The IP of the IPTV is the same as your IP address or VoIP (voice over IP). To understand what this means, you need to know a little bit about how non-IPTV works. With cable or satellite TV, broadcasters send signals and viewers receive them – you can only watch what is being broadcast. Unless you have some sort of recording device, you don’t have to dictate what’s being broadcast and when. Just plug in when you can and watch what’s available.
